How the Moon Phase Soulmate test works
We calculate the Moon phase on each birthday and overlap the two Moons. How much of one Moon’s shadow the other Moon’s light fills sets your match type and score. Two Moons in exactly opposite phases interlock light and shadow, so together they make a Full Moon.
How do you get a 100% soulmate match?
Your birthday Moons are in nearly opposite phases. A Waxing Crescent and a Waning Gibbous, for example, are lit from opposite sides, so overlapping them leaves no gap: a whole Full Moon.
Does birth time or place change the result?
No. The test uses dates only, with each Moon calculated for noon Korea Standard Time (03:00 UTC). If you were born on a day the phase changed, the Moon at your exact birth time may differ slightly.
Are our birthdays stored?
No. The match and the card image are both made in your browser on this device. The birthdays you enter never appear in the page address and are not sent to a server.
